Seminary overview

AGTS is a theological seminary committed to forming leaders who are equally at home in the study and in the field.

Founded on a deep conviction that the church is best served by leaders who are both learned and holy, AGTS integrates academic excellence with spiritual vibrancy and ministerial urgency. Our students come from many backgrounds and denominations, united by a shared calling to serve Christ.

Through classroom teaching, mentoring relationships, worship, and practical ministry, we cultivate leaders ready to preach, teach, plant churches, and carry the gospel across cultures.

Amazing Grace Theological Seminary is a nondenominational evangelical theological seminary founded on July 1st, 2013, by the missionary couple, Rev. Indrajit Sanasham and his wife, Mrs. Lily Longkumer, with the purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ (Mark. 16:15; Matthew 28:19). AGTS is growing tremendously in every aspect through the service of God’s servants, including well-wishers, faculty, staff, and students. The seminary is deeply rooted in prayer, the study and obedience of God’s Word, and ministries, for it is not merely a theological education center but also a discipleship training center to equip believers in Christ and produce Christ-like disciples.

As President, he provides overall vision and spiritual leadership to the seminary, guiding AGTS in its mission to raise faithful servants of the Word for the church and the nations. With decades in pastoral ministry and gospel work, he champions the seminary’s commitment to sound doctrine and Spirit-filled formation.

The Director oversees the day-to-day operations, governance, and stewardship of the seminary’s resources. He ensures that campus life, finance, and facilities run smoothly so that faculty and students can devote themselves fully to teaching, learning, and ministry.

The Principal leads the academic and spiritual formation of the seminary community, shaping curriculum, mentoring students, and upholding the standards of theological education. With over 25 years in pastoral ministry and teaching, he is devoted to equipping men and women for effective service.
